July Patreon Episode: The Death of Debra Stevens

In August 2019, flash floods were storming Fort Smith, Arkansas when Debra Stevens got swept away in her SUV. She called 911, and the operator came across as crass and not helpful. Just moments after the operator told her to “shut up”, Debra drowned. The operator was not found to be criminally negligent, but many have pointed to how this situation could have been handled better.
